Mentorship is a powerful tool for career development, skills development, and diversity and inclusion. It can be a career-changing experience for both the mentor and the mentee, often leading to lifelong personal and professional relationships.
NACE members belong to a supportive community of over 16,000 career services and early talent recruiting professionals who specialize in the same daily work, face similar challenges, and have a vast library of knowledge just waiting to be shared.
Sign up for the NACE Mentor Program, and tap into this collective insight!

If you are a NACE member and would like to participate, or you have already signed up and want to talk to your match, visit MyNACE > Mentor Program.
You’ll use your email address and then create a password. Next, you’ll be presented with questions about yourself. It’s important to answer these questions as thoroughly as possible to ensure you are connected with the right person. For detailed information on how to set up your profile in Qooper use this link.
If you already have an established relationship in the NACE Mentor Program, you can do a search to find your mentor or mentee in Qooper on the Mentoring tab. Check with your mentor/mentee to be sure they’ve signed up.
Mentors should have significant experience in the field, expertise in leadership, communication skills, strategic decision making, organizational skills, and resource management, and the ability to provide insights into the profession to guide the mentee.
Mentees may be those new to the career services or university relation and recruiting fields; those who would like to develop a richer business acumen; or those changing fields.
