In a letter to Denis R. McDonough, secretary of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, the National Association of Colleges and Employers joined with other higher education associations in the Washington Higher Education Secretariat in urging the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to delay transition to a new enrollment management system until summer 2023. Currently, the VA is planning to make the transition in January 2023, which is likely to disrupt GI bill benefit certifications that colleges and universities must provide.
