NACE joined with more than 35 other higher education associations in March 2019 to support H.R. 6, the Dream and Promise Act of 2019.
The legislation would establish 10-year conditional permanent residency status for eligible Dreamers. In addition, the act would restore the ability of states to grant in-state tuition to undocumented students on the basis of residency and would allow Dreamers to be eligible for Title IV federal student aid programs.
