The National Association of Colleges and Employers joined with other higher education associations in the Washington Higher Education Secretariat to provide the Department of Education (DOE) with comments about proposed changes to Title IX regulations. NACE also signed onto a letter crafted by NASPA.
The comments thank the DOE for a number of proposed changes that would provide greater flexibility and clarity for institutions and help campuses better address sex-based discrimination. The WHES-provided comments also identify provisions that would benefit from additional changes to address any unintended consequences or that need clarification, while the NASPA letter’s comments target the impact on student affairs.
