NACE JOINS HE ASSOCIATIONS IN SUPPORTING COLLEGE AFFORDABILITY ACT LEGISLATION

NACE joined with more than 30 higher education associations in October 2019 in supporting H.R. 4674, the College Affordability Act (CAA).

Overall, as the letter outlines, the signatories support those parts of the CAA bill that provide for significant increases in student aid and institutional support. However, as the letter notes, there are some provisions in the bill that NACE and the other associations find concerning as they appear to rely on intrusive, complicated, or burdensome processes.
