  • Summary

    One of the hardest aspects of the pandemic has been the emotional challenges our students have faced. The visual thinking exercises highlighted in this session will help participants design Zoom-friendly activities to use with students under stress. Using exercises from the free book Picture Your Career, Vanderbilt University’s Dr. Kate Brooks and Grace Foy will show participants how they can help their students “talk through” their fears and move forward in the search.

    Following this program, you will be able to:

    • Participants will be able to demonstrate how visual thinking tools can be Zoom-friendly during a pandemic;
    • Participants will understand some of the more advanced techniques and exercises in Picture Your Career; and
    • Participants will have the opportunity to complete an exercise at the end of the program.
