Class of 2019 bachelor’s degree graduates posted an impressive increase in salary: Their median salary ($52,714) is 6% higher than that of their 2018 counterparts, according to results of the Class of 2019 First-Destination Survey.

Master’s degree graduates also saw a healthy increase, with a 3.8% rise in their median salary to land at $62,127.

These figures, however, also point to a trend toward an erosion in salary differentials among the degree levels. This is most noticeable between bachelor’s and master’s degree graduates, where the differential in median salary is now less than 18%, but the trend is also there in the differential between master’s and doctoral degrees, where the difference in median salaries in less than 19%.
