    Join this webinar to discover actionable strategies for empowering international students in their career journeys. This session covers key immigration regulations, strategies for communicating with employers, and alternative experiential learning opportunities, such as case studies and certifications. The University of Michigan University Career Center & International Center teams will highlight efforts and strategic initiatives to empower international students.

    Following this program, you will be able to:

    • Understand immigration regulations: Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the various work authorizations available to international students and how these regulations impact their employment opportunities in the United States.
    • Learn disclosure strategies: Participants will learn how to effectively coach students on discussing immigration status with potential employers, including the importance of disclosure and the legal rights of employees under USCIS guidelines.
