NACE Affinity Groups

As a NACE Affinity Group member, you could:

  • Help shape workshops or contribute to NACE publications
  • Work on developing new NACE resources, content, and programs
  • Support and learn from others in the field

    Whether you love leading the conversation or prefer hearing from others, NACE has an affinity group for you. Any NACE member may join one or more affinity groups and attend meetings as their availability allows—there are no formal attendance or participation requirements.

    Affinity Groups Based On: Serving and Recruiting Special Populations

    Global Talent 

    For members interested in connecting international students with career opportunities.  This group is also space for members that recruit for global companies.  

    Individuals Supporting & Recruiting Students with Disabilities 

    For members that work students that have disabilities and members that want to recruit from these students with disabilities.

    Individuals Serving & Recruiting Hispanic/Latin@x & HSI Students  

    For members that work at HSIs or who are interested in recruiting from HSIs 

    Individuals Serving & Recruiting Veterans 

    For members who are veterans, work with students that are veterans, or recruit students that are veterans. Among other things, this group identifies and shares resources for veterans who are transitioning from service to civilian life. 

     

    Individuals Serving & Recruiting Indigenous & TCU Students 

    For members that work at TCUs and members interested in learning about TCUs.

    Affinity Groups Based On: Institution Classification

    Asian American Native American Pacific Islander-Serving Institutions (AANAPISI) 

    This AG is space for members that identify or support people that identify as APIDA.  

    Colleges with a Population of Students under 5,000 

    For members that work for intuitions with fewer than 5,000 students and members that want to recruit for them.

    Community and Two-Year Colleges 

    For members that work for community colleges and two-year colleges as well as members that want to recruit from these kinds of institutions. 

    Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCUs) 

    For members that work at HBCUs, members interested in connecting with HBCUs, and members that support the HBCU experience.

    Affinity Groups Based On: Personal Identity

    LGBTQ & Allies 

    For members that either identify as LGBTQ+ or members that are allies to the LGBTQ+ community. 

    People of Color 

    For members that identify as or support people that identify as persons of colors.

    Retiree and Pre-Retiree 

    For members that are considering retirement, nearing retirement, or who have retired.  

    Women in URR and Career Services 

    For members that identify as or support members that identify as women. This group has had a subgroup that focuses on Womxn to promote inclusivity.   

    Affinity Groups Based On: Major Focus

    Liberal Arts Colleges and Majors 

    For members that work with or recruit students that are liberal arts majors.

    STEM 

    For members that work with or recruit students in with Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics.

    Affinity Groups Based On: Job Function

    Career Services Professionals in an Employer Relations Role 

    For members that work in employer relations roles or roles that interface with them.

    Online Career Services 

    For members who work for online schools, provide career services online, or recruit from online schools.
