Making Quirky Work: Helping "Goofy" Find a Job
Description:
We have all met people who seem to march to a different drummer. Recently, employers have embraced the idea that employees are at their best when they are true to themselves. This session will explore methods to allow quirky students to remain true to themselves and be successful professional employees. Learning Objectives: Develop an efficacious synthesis between personal quirkiness and the traditional standards of professionalism. Construct an effective methodology for preparing quirky students for success in the professional workplace. Empower colleagues to embrace their personal quirkiness when applicable and to encourage its professional manifestations in work settings.
