The job market for M.B.A. graduates continues to grow, according to results of the MBA Career Services & Employer Alliance’s (MBA CSEA) Spring 2014 Recruiting Trends Survey.
The findings show that 55 percent of schools that responded to the survey report an increase in on-campus recruiting for full-time jobs for M.B.A. graduates, while 70 percent report an increase in full-time job postings. These figures represent a slight increase from last year’s results (48 percent and 68 percent, respectively).
For the second year in a row, the strongest increase by industry for these graduates was seen in the technology industry, with energy also showing strong activity.
Overall, 58 percent of schools participating in the survey saw an increase in on-campus recruiting for internships for M.B.A. students and 72 percent seeing an increase in job postings.
When looking at recruiting activity by company type, start-ups saw the largest increase in activity (53 percent).
