Join Meg Flournoy, senior director of the Career Management Center at the Duke University Fuqua School of Business, as she explains the latest trends and tactics in career coaching and then coaches you as you apply lessons learned during the program.

    Following this program, you will be able to:

    • Define career coaching and correctly use the language of coaching;
    • Select the appropriate coaching technique to use with a client based on the client’s progression through the stages of change;
    • Use and apply the most effective coaching techniques for individual and group coaching; and
    • Identify how you can leverage your individual strengths to become a more effective coach.

    This two-day program incorporates facilitated discussion, guided activities, and group work to create a stimulating and engaging learning experience.

    About the Presenter
    Meg FlournoyMeg Flournoy, Senior Director, the Career Management Center, Duke University Fuqua School of Business
    Meg Flournoy provides guidance to Fuqua graduate business students and alumni interested in healthcare and global opportunities. Experienced in the application of the principles of career coaching in workshops and one-on-one coaching sessions, she developed her coaching skills through positions at the University of Maryland University College, Muhlenberg College, and Lafayette College.

    Previously, she worked with undergraduate liberal arts students, engineering students, and evening graduate school students. She has also worked with divisions of companies on the topics of staff development, self-assessment, and team building.

    Flournoy holds a master's degree in counseling psychology from Lehigh University and a bachelor's degree in political science from Susquehanna University.
