Description:

The U.S. immigration process is confusing to employers and career services offices. This session will provide strategies to navigate the work visa process for international students. The program will focus on Optional Practical Training (OPT) as well as the H1B work visa, including strategies for addressing the H1B "quota" and H1B "lottery" process. Learning Objectives: Understand the work visa options available to international graduates of U.S. universities. Help international students understand the process for staying and working in the U.S. after graduation. Work with U.S. employers to help them hire international graduates of U.S. universities.
