About the Presenter
Cher Yazvac, Associate Director for Career Development, Center for Career Opportunities (CCO), Purdue UniversityAt Purdue University, Yazvac delivers more than 50 career development presentations each year, on topics such as resumes, interviewing, job-search strategies, and managing career development. She works individually with students and alumni in developing and implementing their career decisions and action plans. Previously she represented the CCO on the Student Services Assessment Task Force, Student Services Strategic Planning, Outreach Coordination, and overall career development initiatives for Purdue students. She worked in the College of Science as a career coordinator and academic adviser for biology undergraduates for 18 years and held a joint appointment with the CCO and the College of Science until 2008. Yazvac holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree, both from Purdue University.
