    What should I wear to an event?
    I cannot attend, but my colleague can. What do I do?

    What should I wear to an event?

    NACE events are set in a relaxed, professional atmosphere. Attire is business casual. Meeting room temperatures can be cool and the climate may vary, wear layered clothing for comfort.

    I cannot attend, but my colleague can. What do I do?

    Before April 22, 2016, you can transfer your registration to a colleague by following these steps:

    • Submit your request in writing to events@naceweb.org by April 22, 2016. Include your registration confirmation with your written request.
    • Only one transfer is allowed per original registration.

    Due to required pre-work that all program participants must complete, no substitution requests will be accepted after April 22, 2016. (Please note: NACE reserves the right to deny substitution requests.)

    I need to cancel my registration. Can I get my money back?


    All cancellation/substitution requests must be made in writing. Send requests to events@naceweb.org or call 610.625.1026 for assistance.

    Cancellation Policy Details
    • Cancellation requests received before March 28, 2016 will receive a full refund.
    • Cancellation requests received after March 28, 2016 and before May 27, 2016 will be issued a refund less a $125 administration fee.
    • Cancellation requests received after May 27, 2016 and up till 15 days prior to the event, will result in a credit equal to the value of the cancelled registration, and will be valid for 12 months from the date of issue. The credit may be used on any NACE product or service, but may only be used by the individual to whom it was issued.
    • Cancellation requests received less than 15 days prior to the event will not be eligible for a refund. This includes on-site "no shows."

    Substitution Policy Details
    • There will be no charge on substitution requests received before March 28, 2016.
    • Substitution requests received after March 28, 2016 to May 27, 2016 will incur a $125 administration fee.
    • After May 27, 2016 no substitutions are allowed.

    What meals are included in my registration?

    Breakfast and lunch are included Monday through Friday; your registration also includes the opening night dinner (Sunday). Remaining dinners are on your own.

    As a NACE member, do I save any money on my registration?

    Yes—this is a key benefit of membership, and NACE members enjoy steep discounts on events. For the MLI, depending on which accommodation option you have selected, your membership has saved you up to $210 off the regular price.

    My boss is a NACE member. Can I attend at the member rate, too?
